Quantifi Photonics has announced the launch of its QCA Series High-Speed Communication Analyzer at DesignCon 2024. This development marks a significant step forward in advancing interconnect technologies for high-volume manufacturing, particularly in the fields of AI, High-Performance Computing, and Cloud applications.

The QCA Series, a digital sampling oscilloscope, is engineered to offer cost-effective performance. It is specifically designed to aid manufacturers of next-gen interconnects in overcoming the challenge of scaling production to meet high volumes.

Featuring ultra-low jitter performance and unparalleled instrument density, the QCA Series is exceptionally well-suited for conducting high-precision measurements in parallel. This capability significantly optimises test throughput and reduces the cost of testing in high-volume manufacturing environments. Additionally, the QCA Series can be seamlessly integrated into existing assembly and alignment equipment used for producing next-gen interconnects.

The new series targets a wide range of applications, including 100-800G and 1.6T Ethernet, emerging Co-Packaged Optics and In-package Optical I/O, as well as computer interfaces like PCI Express and USB. A live demonstration of the first instrument in this new lineup will be showcased at booth 760 during the DesignCon exhibition, scheduled from 31st January to 1st February 2024.

Initially, the QCA will be released as an electrical version, suitable for 25G NRZ and 26.6/53.1 Gigabaud PAM4, with an optical version to follow. To enhance measurement accuracy, especially for DSP-based technologies, Quantifi Photonics will also introduce the QCR Series of Clock Recovery modules. The QCA is powered by the user-friendly VISEYE analysis software and graphical user interface, facilitating ease of use for operators.
