Qseven COM enables flexibility in mechanical configuration
A Qseven COM, which provides embedded system designers with more flexibility in the mechanical configuration of a system, has been released by the BVM Group. Supporting the latest Baytrail processors from Intel, the BT700 is Rev2.0 compliant. The 70x70mm board contains the processor, memory, BIOS, LVDS, HDMI and DVI display options, LAN, on-board storage and external interfaces.
The COM, supported by the Windows 8 Enterprise x64 OS, is available with Intel Atom and Celeron BGA 1170 processors. For development, a mini-ITX carrier board is available, providing the real-world interface connections for evaluation. Custom carrier boards are available for production.
The BT700, which supports up to 16GB of on-module memory, features interfaces for USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, PCIe and mini-PCIe slots, video, audio, keyboard and mouse connectors, serial ports, LAN ports and SATA ports. On request, additional I/O, power supplies, graphics drivers and networks can designed into the carrier board. For use in harsh environments, two extended temperature versions are available.
