Patient multimedia terminal operates in Android OS
An 18.5" patient multimedia terminal that operates in Android OS has been introduced by ARBOR Technology. The M1860, which is certified for medical use, offers a Flush design multi-point touchscreen with a number of connections for multimedia services. In addtion, the terminal features a remote control with optional integrated nurse call.
Via its 1D/2D barcode scanners and RFID readers, the M1860 can be used to access patient records. Medical staff can also use the terminal to for traceability and identification.
