Nexcom launches new PEAK 777VL2 Single Board Computer.

Nexcom has launched a new PICMG 1.0 full-size Single Board Computer (SBC) which supports Intel® 45nm Core™ 2 Duo/Quad technology and is equipped with the G41 chipset. The Intel G41 + ICH7 chipset ensures high-quality video performance without deployment of additional cards or decoders. In addition to improved video performance, scalability and responsiveness, the Intel G41 Express GPU can deliver 3D Graphics capability.
For increased versatility, PEAK 777VL2 includes the Intel Core™ 2 Quad/Core™ 2 Duo/Pentium® 4/Pentium® D/Celeron® D with front side bus frequencies ranging from 800 to 1333 MHz. For high-performance applications, PEAK 777VL2 can support up to 4GB DDR RAM. Furthermore, it supports a multitude of other I/O interfaces including 2 x serial ports, 6 x USB ports and 2 x PCI Express Gigabit LAN ports.

PEAK 777VL2 will find applications within graphic intensive applications which require flexibility and performance, therefore digital signage is one potential market for this product.
