Nematron Introduces The New iPC-Series Industrial PCs
Nematron launch the new iPC-Series of Industrial Computers, now with Intel i-Series Core embedded processors. Following in the footsteps of the highly successful ePC-Series, the innovative iPC-Series continues to change the definition of traditional Industrial PCs, most notably by offering the latest in embedded processing power with the following Intel CPU options: i7 Dual Core, i5 Dual Core, and Dual Core Celeron P4500. Each processor option continues Nematron’s move toward providing high-performance/low power processing to fit most industry needs.
The “In designing the new iPC-Series computers, our aim was to continue building on the success of previous industrial computers that we introduced to the marketplace by offering the latest in backlighting, I/O and processing at a very competitive price that many applications desire,” explains Ralph Damato, VP – Product Management of Nematron. “And the iPC-Series does that. We are proud to see our efforts produce high quality, cost-competitive industrial PCs that offer the technology and enhancements that today’s evolving market demands,” continues Damato.
Additional upgrades from the previous ePC-Series include two more USB ports, upping the total available to six. Operating system options will be Windows XP Professional 32-bit, Windows 7 Professional 32-bit, and now Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, providing enhanced 64-bit application support. All iPC-Series units come standard with 2 GB DRAM, 40 GB SATA Solid State drives, and Powder Coated Aluminum front bezels.
All sizes and models of the iPC-Series and nPC300 will have UL and cUL 508 as well as Class I Division 2, RoHS, and European CE approvals, making system integration a breeze for virtually any application and/or location.
