Conduant Announces the LTXe Storage Array
Conduant today introduced the LTXe Storage Array for high-capacity, high-density storage in a compact form factor. The LTXe facilitates easy modular expansion of disk storage via cabled PCI Express and features heater, DC power and rugged options for extreme and specialized environments.
The Conduant founder and CEO, Ken Owens stated, That while we are a leader in the industry with our StreamStor high-speed peer-to-peer and direct-to-disk recording and playback solutions, Conduant is expanding its product offerings to include exceptional performance and capacity for more traditional file-based storage operations. Now we can accommodate customers who demand a high-density footprint, including heater support and DC power supplies, if required. If and when customer performance requirements change, they can always upgrade to StreamStor for reliable sustained data streaming performance.
Additional Features of the LTX e Storage Array
• The PCIe cabling accommodates 8 lanes, Gen 2, with data rates up to 5Gb/second per lane. It provides high-speed connectivity to a host computer for command/control and data recording and access.
• Cabled PCIe can be used to connect nearly any computing architecture such PCIe, SMC, VME, VPX, BXS, AMC or other mezzanine/back-plane environments.
• Offers scalable data storage capacities up to 32TB.
• There is broad support for Windows and Linux operating systems.
