Low power Intel Atom-based products from Axiomtek
Axiomtek announces a variety of low power Intel Atom-based products (codename Bay Trail) from board-level to system-level solutions. These advanced platforms are optimised for power-saving applications. By adopting new Intel Atom processors, Axiomtek boards and systems offer excellent graphic performance, low power consumption and highly quality.
The 3.5" embedded board, CAPA841, is equipped with the newest 22nm process Intel Atom processor E3845 and E3827. This system-on-chip (SoC) incorporates up to four cores and supports system memory DDR3L-1066/1333 SO-DIMM maximum up to 8 GB. This small form factor SBC is capable of operating under wide temperatures from -40 to +75°C in fanless operation, which allows customers to design systems in rugged environments. Moreover, it comes with multiple display outputs: HDMI, LVDS and VGA with dual view supported. With integrated Intel Gen 7 graphics, up to 792MHz in turbo, visual experiences are enhanced, including faster media processing, full HD over HDMI, spectacular HD playback, and more. The product is ready to ship now!
The MANO840 is a mini-ITX motherboard which supports Intel Atom Bay Trail-D 2.0 GHz SoC. The industrial grade embedded board offers best balance of cost and performance. The SBC comes with rich I/O including one USB 3.0 port, six USB 2.0 ports, two Gigabit LAN ports, VGA/HDMI/LVDS interfaces and six COM ports. In terms of storage as well as expansion for easy system deployment, it reserves mSATA interface, PCIe x1 slot, PCI Express mini card and two SATA-300 ports. The motherboard is going to be available by mid August, 2014.
Axiomtek’s new PICO840 is a pico-ITX embedded board features the latest Intel Atom processor E3800 family. Customers can enjoy the advantage of good thermal design to running it in wide temperatures from -20 to +70°C in limited space application. It not only provides protection against dust or noise but also provides flexibility to design rugged systems working in harsh environments. The extreme small form factor embedded board also includes a ready-to-use pin-header for I/O expansion which can help system integrators to develop solutions quick and cost-effectiveness. Through its built-in I/O pin-header, integrators can easily extend multiple I/O to provide optimised solutions in a more cost-effective way. The PICO840 will be available by Q4, 2014.
