Low-power, Compact Intel Atom D510/D410 Network Appliance with 6 Gigabit LANs for SOHO Users
Axiomtek announced the NA-320, a compact desktop network appliance platform with six Gigabit LAN ports designed for VPN, firewall, UTM, network bandwidth controller, and network management applications. The NA-320 supports the low-voltage Intel® Atom™ processors D510 /D410 1.66GHz with Intel® ICH8M PCH chipset. The device supports a high bandwidth DDR2 SODIMM slot with memory up to 2GB. In order to provide the best network performance, the NA-320 utilizes one 2.5″ SATA HDD and CompactFlash™. Six Gigabit LAN ports with bypass provide high throughput and availability. Additionally, one PCI Express Mini card (USB-type) is available for WiFi wireless card installation. This low-power unit comes in a small package with a height of just 44mm and a weight of 2.5 kg, which can easily fit into any space-limited and harsh environments.
“PThe NA-320 has powerful storage interfaces including one 2.5” SATA hard disk drive bay and a CompactFlash™ card. Six Gigabit LAN ports, two USB 2.0 ports, one RJ-45 console port and power connector are found on the rear panel. Internally, the devices include a Mini PCI expansion slot (USB- type) and two more USB ports. For easy maintain, the front-facing LED indicators are available for system, power and HDD activities monitoring. It also supports mainstream Linux kernel 2.6 operating system.
