INTERFACE MASTERS Technologies - Hex Port Server Adapters based on Intel's 82576 Ethernet Controller
Interface Masters Technologies has announced additional members of its Gigabit Ethernet (GE) Server Adapter Card family that are designed to integrate with PCI-e based Networking Servers, Inline Networking Devices, Security and Monitoring Appliances. The Niagara 32266 and 32066 are low-cost, low power Hex Port Copper NICs, based on Intel’s latest Gigabit Ethernet controller, the 82576. Niagara 32266 includes bypass relays to maintain uptime during power-outage, link-loss or software crash.
The The Niagara 32266 hex port copper server adapter with bypass is designed for high-availability server applications that demand premium performance and maximum uptime. The bypass feature, upon power failure or power loss, allows network traffic to continue by re-routing traffic from the transmitting port directly to the receiving port. This creates a closed loop that bypasses the down appliance, ensuring that network uptime is maintained.
“Interface Masters is excited to announce two additional members of its new NIC family supporting the 82576 controller and specialized features,” stated Ben Askarinam, founder and CEO of Interface Masters Technologies. “Niagara 32266 and 32066 enable high port density, maximum network availability, and efficient throughput, while utilizing the latest technology from Intel.”
