Interface Masters and One Convergence Partner to Deliver a Fully Virtualized Octal PCI-e Accelerator Board Based on Cavium Networks NITROX® PX Security Processor Family
Interface Masters Technologies, an industry leader and innovator in networking solutions, is introducing an octal Cavium Networks NITROX PX CN1620 PCI-e accelerator board targeting networking appliances and servers requiring security acceleration for encrypt/decrypt and demanding asymmetric protocol operations. Interface Masters Technologies and Once Convergence will be demonstrating and presenting the Adapter in Booth #2645 at the RSA conference in San Francisco.
One Convergence, Inc., a company developing technologies for next generation data-center, is partnering with Interface Masters and offering a solution for virtualization of the Niagara 810. The solution enables virtualization of security/crypto functions and allows sharing of the adapter across multiple VMs in virtualized appliances and servers for targeting emerging multi-tenancy and multi-application scenarios for the cloud.
By using eight of our marketing leading Cavium Networks NITROX PX CN1620 chips, Interface Masters has been able to garner outstanding encryption performance and support a large number of transactions with RSA 2048 bit security, said John Bromhead, Director, Product Marketing, Cavium Networks. Customers building WAN acceleration, cloud computing and data center applications can benefit from this performance.
Interface Masters is pleased to team up with Cavium Networks and One Convergence and provide a leading performance SSL acceleration and high throughput data encryption PCI-e card combined with virtualization capabilities, said Ben Askarinam, the CEO and founder of Interface Masters Technologies.
