Delkin Devices has announced the availability of industrial-grade microSD cards, now in capacities up to 8GB, for applications requiring optimal performance and reliability in a small form factor. Delkin has engineered these microSD products to perform at unmatched speeds while in harsh operating environments, including extended temperatures and shock or vibration conditions.

Delkin’s microSD cards offer the fastest data transfer rates available on the market, with write speeds up to 15 MB/s and read speeds up to 17MB/s, and deliver over 2 million programming write cycles. These performance levels are accomplished through the exclusive use of Single-Level Cell NAND Flash memory, which offers a 6-fold speed advantage and 10-fold increase in write cycles over traditional Multi-Level Cell flash utilized by other card manufacturers.

The Delkin microSD products are robustly designed to handle temperature extremes from -40°C to 85°C and shock or vibration in accordance with MIL-STD-810, through industrial-grade components and stringent manufacturing and testing standards.
