IBASE has announced the launch of its latest 2U network appliance, the INA7605, for high power applications.

This powerful 2U rackmount platform is designed to cater to the growing demands of data centres and network infrastructure, enhancing processing capabilities and network throughput with cutting-edge technology and robust build.

The INA7605 comes equipped with a selection of dual 5th Gen Intel Xeon Scalable (formerly Emerald Rapids) Processors, providing unmatched computational power and efficiency, as well as support for up to 16x DDR4 RDIMMs that can handle up to 1,024GB of memory. Network flexibility is maximized with options for up to 8x NIC modules, allowing up to 64 GbE ports. Storage options are also expansive with up to 8x 2.5” swappable HDD bays, and system management is streamlined through an optional IPMI 2.0 module. The INA7605 also includes a 1x PCI-E (x16) expansion slot and is supported by 2x 1600-watt redundant power supplies, ensuring reliability and uninterrupted service.

IBASE is offering two variants of the INA7605 to meet diverse needs: The INA7605-SHQ and INA7605-NIC. Both models feature the powerful MBN7605 Intel Emerald Rapids processor, 16x DDR5 RDIMMs, and a 1600W redundant PSU. The INA7605-SHQ is tailored for external storage scalability with 8x 2.5-inch HDD bays and 4x IBN expansion slots. On the other hand, the INA7605-NIC focuses on internal storage integration with 2x 2.5-inch HDD bays and 8x IBN expansion slots. Both models are offered as barebone systems, allowing customers to customize RAM, HDD, and drive bays as per their specific requirements.

“With the INA7605, we are setting a new standard for network appliances in terms of performance, scalability, and reliability,” said Jesse Chiang, Senior Director of Netcom Products Business Division at IBASE. “Our commitment to providing state-of-the-art solutions is evident in this latest offering, designed to meet the rigorous demands of modern network environments.”
