Swissbit expands its flash memory product line with the new PS-100u Series security product line. Enabling highly secure solutions with an embedded secure element, this Micro SD form factor storage solution enables other solution providers to turn mobile and embedded systems into secure devices using the Swissbit secure Micro SD as a root of trust.

Comprising three editions for public-key infrastructure, voice encryption and contactless use cases, the new PS-100u product family is equipped with a CC EAL 5+ smart card chip with a CC EAL 5+ certified Java Card OS of the latest standard. Supporting Windows 7/8/Vista/XP, Android and BlackBerry, the available storage densities are 4GB and 8GB in speed class 10. The list of supported platforms can be flexibly extended upon request.

Ideal for authentication and PKI use cases, the Standard Edition PS-100u SE ensures a seamless design in into existing security infrastructures with support from leading middleware vendors in mobile, desktop and tablet use cases.

Crucial for high performance secure voice solutions and online key- and certificate exchange, the Voice Edition PS-100u VE provides Elliptic Curve Cryptography and offers big computation and security advantages combined with small certificate sizes.

Targetted at wallet, payment, ePurse and banking applications, the Contactless card PS-100u CL could be connected with an external antenna and communicate via ISO 14443 contactless protocol with all NFC smart phones.

Swissbit offers in-house system, storage and security expertise for B2B partners, solution providers and value added resellers. Secure Flash Card samples are already available and start of production is in January 2014.
