Highest computing, graphical and video performance
DSM Computer's new NanoServer N2-QM87 embedded system offers the highest computing, graphical and video performance in a compact 204 mm x 226 mm x 109 mm housing. Integrating a 4th generation Intel Core processor and the Intel QM87 chipset, the high-performance compact industrial computer provides two PCI Express x8 slots for short cards for system expansions.
The NanoServer N2-QM87 is equipped with the 4th generation Intel Core i5-4400E processor with two cores (2.7 GHz, 3 MB) as standard. A model is available with quad-core Intel Core i7-4700EQ (2.4 GHz, 6 MB) for high-end applications. The IntelHD4600 graphic controller integrated in the processor is characterized with its high video and graphic performance. While the fast DDR3 RAM main memory can be expanded to a maximum capacity of 16 GB, the integrated Intel HD4600 graphic controller provides high video and graphic performance.
Designed for an operating temperature range from 0°C to +50° C, the robust Core i5 processor employs an innovative ventilation concept. The industrial computer with Core i7 operates reliably at temperatures as high as 45° C. With a PCI Express x16 and a PCI Express x1 slot offered as options, the embedded system integrates two Mini PCI Express x1 slots (internal), one of which is designed to provide mSATA support. A 60 GB mSATA Solid State Drive or larger is installed as standard. The system can also be equipped with up to two 2.5 inch SSDs/HDDs, one of which is directly accessible from a screwed-on base cover.
The compact N2-QM87 embedded system offers rich I/O functionality, including: four fast external USB 3.0 and six USB 2.0 (2 external, 4 internal) ports ensuring fast data transfer; four serial connections (3 x RS232, 1 x RS232/422/485); audio; DVI-I, DVI-D and DisplayPort interfaces allow the connection of two independent, high-resolution displays; and Serial ATA for four SATA III 600 devices and two SATA II 300 devices (RAID 0, 1, 0+1,5 configurable for all connections) are available internally.
On request, the two 1000 Base-T LAN interfaces can be augmented with Wireless LAN 802.11. A 12/24 VDC wide-range input is available for the power supply via an external 100-240 VAC power pack (120 W).
