Fanless embedded system with IP67 protection has been released
The eBOX800-841-FL, a fanless embedded system with IP67 protection for mission-critical market, has been introduced by Axiomtek. The rugged embedded system is designed for fanless operation at temperatures from -30 to 60°C. Its 9-36V wide range DC input with various power protection, M12 lockable connectors and N-jack waterproof antenna connectors meet the performance needs for IIoT applications.
The eBOX800-841-FL is powered by the onboard quad-core Intel Atom E3845 processor (formally codename: Bay Trail). This hardened embedded box PC comes with one DDR3L SO-DIMM slot with system memory up to 8GB. Additionally, one 2.5” SATA HDD, one mSATA and one CFast are available to maintain sufficient storage. With its rugged housing, flexible I/O, extended temperature and wide voltage DC-in, the fanless embedded PC is definitely the top choice for outdoor critical applications such as facility condition monitoring.
“The Axiomtek eBOX800-841-FL has a fully IP67-rated extruded aluminium and heavy-duty steel case with wall-mount for easy mounting. It can withstand vibration up to 3G, and all I/Os are implemented on rugged M12 connectors,” said Janney Lee, Product Manager of Product PM Division at Axiomtek. “Furthermore, the Intel Atom-based fanless embedded box computer comes with flexible I/O design, making it ideal for customised projects.”
The flexible eBOX800-841-FL supports rich I/O interfaces including two Gigabit Ethernet ports, two RS-232/422/485 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, one VGA and power input. This extended temperature embedded system comes with two PCI Express Mini Card slots and one SIM slot for wireless network communication options. Four N-jack type antenna openings with water-proof design are available for WLAN and WWAN usage. Embedded OS support includes Windows 10 IoT and Windows 7.
The high-quality IP67-rated eBOX800-841-FL from Axiomtek will be available in November, 2016.
