EXA Infrastructure has unveiled its Managed Fibre Network (MFN) service to meet growing market demands for enhanced connectivity and faster service delivery times.

This comprehensive solution offers customers a turn-key service, handling the design, installation, and maintenance of fibre networks, particularly for those lacking the necessary in-house or regional capabilities.

MFN offers the benefits of dark fibre and equipment ownership, providing high scalability and cost efficiency without the need for in-house administration, technical support, or operational resources. As networks need to expand rapidly to accommodate advancements in AI, Cloud computing, content transmission, and big data, EXA Infrastructure’s MFN allows businesses to close network gaps, link data centres and cable landing stations, and swiftly expand into new markets.

Currently available in 29 European countries, as well as in the United States and Canada, the service benefits from EXA Infrastructure’s expansive network, which spans over 155,000 kilometres of fibre across 37 countries and connects more than 500 Points of Presence. With years of expertise in network management, EXA Infrastructure is ideally positioned to provide bespoke interconnection solutions tailored to customer needs across Europe, North America, and beyond.

“EXA Infrastructure has managed networks for our customers for years, so this is our bread and butter," commented Steve Roberts, VP, Strategic Investments and Product Management at EXA Infrastructure. "Our extensive network, combined with extensive experience in managing different variations of subsea services for customers, means that our engineers and NOC staff are well poised to deliver best in breed service across our MFN customers. We are thrilled to launch our MFN offering today and look forward to continuing to support our customers to meet the never-ending demand for connectivity."
