Ethernet I/O module withstands 5g vibration & 100g shock
A compact data acquisition, control and I/O platform housed in a 68.58x101.60x104.13mm chassis has been introduced by United Electronic Industries (UEI). Based on UEI’s PowerDNA Cube architecture, the UEINet is designed for applications requiring a very small foot print with the capabilities to support virtually any input, any sensor and any interface I/O.
The rugged chassis is rated for operation from -40 to +70°C, able to withstand 5g vibration and 100g shock and designed to support a wide range of high- and low-voltage analogue and digital signals. Delivering unparalleled deployment flexibility, the Ethernet I/O module operates with two primary subsections: a core module and an I/O board.
The UEINet is 100% COTS and supported by UEI’s family of over 60 compatible analogue, digital and interface I/O boards, including ARINC-429, MIL-1553, CAN, RVDT/LVDT, synchro/resolver, RS-232/422/485, strain gauge, quadrature encoder and more. It can also run Simulink models for actual HIL testing and rapid prototyping while users remotely monitor and tune parameters.
The platform supports all popular OSs and programming languages, including Windows, Linux, VxWorks, QNX as well as an extensive array of application packages, including MATLAB and LabVIEW.
Pricing starts at $995 with ARO availability ranging from two to six weeks depending on volume.
