Following the successful series of regional seminars last year, strategic partners EPLAN, Phoenix Contact and Rittal will host a series of brand new events in 2010. These live events will show panel and system builders and automation and process design engineers an insight how to avoid pitfalls in system design and construction by using integrated intelligent software and hands on system build techniques. The benefits of time and cost reduction will be fundamental to the event and will lead to increased profitability.
EPLAN Software and Service specialise in computer aided engineering (CAE) software for the design of electrical control and automation systems, providing fast and error free designs of electrical schematics with automatic cross references and wiring. Phoenix Contact is a global developer and manufacturer of electronic interface and industrial automation technology. Rittal will show their new enclosure platform approach to system building, which offers simplicity and flexibility by utilising common internal parts and accessories.

The day will start with a live demonstration of the problems encountered due to poor system design and move through the design, calculation and planning process. Following on will be a further live demonstration of marking systems and time saving terminal wiring and DIN rail assembly. The conclusion will be a live demonstration of how the problems highlighted at the start have been eliminated by using intelligent design and calculation.

Attending one of the events can help increase your competitiveness by reducing installation time and minimising errors. Places are on a strictly first come first served basis.

Events are to be held in Brentwood (12th May), Bristol (13th May), Washington (26th May), Motherwell (27th May), Rotherham (2nd June) and Telford (24th June). Registration is requested by emailing details of attendees and preferred venue to register@phoenixcontact.co.uk.
