Embedded system supports up to three hi-res displays

Supporting LGA1150 socket type for 4th gen Intel Core i7/i5/i3 and Celeron processors with Intel Q87 Express chipset, the eBOX670-883-FL embedded system has been released by Axiomtek. This support system allows the hardened, fanless system to operate from -40 to +55°C. The device, which opererates from 9 to 36VDC, features four 10/100/1000 Ethernet ports, Jumbo Frame (9.5K), PXE Remote Boot and Teaming.

Enhancing the network connection speed, the system is also offered with a wake-on-LAN (WOL) function. Up to three independent hi-resolution displays or a single 4K display are supported by the embedded system.

The eBOX670-883-FL supports up to 16GB of DDR3-1333/1600 system memory, provides two internal PCI Express Mini Card slots and one SIM card slot for 3G, WiFi, GSM and LTE connections, meeting the requirements of a wide range of applications. Two 2.5” SATA HDD, one easy-access CFast and one mSATA interface are also offered for storage.

I/O interfaces include six jumper-less RS-232/422/485, two HDMI, one DisplayPort, one VGA, six USB 3.0, 32 channel programmable digital I/O, four GbE LAN ports and one ATX power switch with status indicator. Enabling the installation of 3G, WiFi, GSM and LTE interfaces, the eBOX670-883-FL is also offered with three SMA type connector openings for antenna. Users can set remote power or auto power on demands using the Remote Power Switch and AT/ATX switch.

The embedded system, which supports Windows 7, Windows 7 Embedded, Windows 8, Windows 8 Embedded or Linux, can be wall-mounted. Suitable applications include host computers, cloud computing servers, multimedia applications and automation systems.
