CPC1310 – saves investments providing prospects

Fastwel Company has launched a new COM Express Type II CPU module CPC1310. This new product is based on the dual-core processor IntelPineview 1.6 GHz. All module components, including 1 GB memory and 4 GB SSD, are soldered thus providing high shock and vibration resistance. Thanks to HD slots, the system developers are provided with a wide range of high-speed interfaces, such as Gigabit Ethernet, 8 USB 2.0, 2 SATAII and 4 PCIExpressx1. At the same time, the ISA bus is supported through the extra slot thus allowing to utilize existing experience for mission-critical systems development and redesign. It is necessary to note that CPC1310 supports ISA to the full extent, including such important functions as the Direct Memory Access (DMA) and RQ support. All these provide the developers with the capability to rapidly create the state-of-art on-board systems using everything that has already been accumulated, e.g. extension boards and separate functional units.



The built-in video controller with 2D/3D accelerator supports VGA and LVDSс interfaces, up to 2048х1536 pixels.



The CPC1310 extra capabilities include PCI 23 bit bus, audio interface, keyboard and PS/2 mouse, 4 COM ports, 16 DIO lines and 2 watchdog timers. The second GigabitEthernet channel goes through the same connector with the ISA bus.



In order to test CPC1310 capabilities Fastwel provides its regular customers with a development kit KIB1283, having full range of standard slots and interfaces. To assure the product’s compatibility with non-standard devices the BIOS can be modified. For volume projects Fastwel Company provides the base board development and manufacturing service, along with heat dissipation system and enclosure design in accordance with the customer’s technical requirements.



The module supports widely used operating systems: DOS, Windows XP Embedded, Linux and QNX Neutrino.



The performed tests have demonstrated the product’s high compatibility with such specific OS as МСВС and AstraLinux.



Like other Fastwel products, CPC1310 can be supplied with conformal coating.
