Conduction Cooled Intel Quad Core i7 CPU in a Sealed Intelligent System

The CIF-5917 is a conduction cooled small form factor platform utilizing Intel's 3rd generation Ivy Bridge processors including the Quad Core i7 mobile and embedded CPUs. Using Intel's integrated HD Graphic 4000 with DirectX 11 capability and Intel Quick Sync Video hardware video encoding and decoding support, this system is ideal for any high performance and/or media-intensive applications.
The Built with the Intel QM77 chipset, the CIF-5917 system is not only compatible with the 3rd generation Ivy Bridge Core processors, but is also compatible with 2nd generation Sandy Bridge Core processors and QM67 chipset options. CIF-5917 Graphics Performance
This demonstration shows the graphics performance of the CIF-5917 with a Core i7-3740QM Quad core 3rd Gen Ivy Bridge CPU running Windows 8 and using software provided by the Windows Presentation Foundation. The parameters of the demonstration are two independent displays at full 1080p HD resolution. Industry standards dictate that the ideal capable system should have two full HD WPF video renderings running simultaneously and complete the video clip in 15 seconds. Additionally, the video performance is further displayed when rendering a full 1080p HD video clip using Intel's Quick Sync, which helps significantly in encoding and decoding video. The results show that using Quick Sync produced a higher quality export almost four times faster than the time of a non-accelerated export profile. Even after these CPU and graphic intensive tests, the fanless CIF-5917 was operating well within normal operating temperatures.
