Brad PLC Communication Modules from Molex now offered with Add-On-Profiles

The module configuration is supported with AOPs for easy integration into the ControlLogix system using the RSLogix 5000 software. All communication modules for Profibus and Modbus** software are also supported with an AOP.

“Users benefit from faster configuration with a more consistent interface to module parameters and reduced errors through configuration checking embedded within the AOP,” said Michael Frayne, product manager, network interfaces, Molex Incorporated. “A level of consistency is now possible that was not there prior to the AOP.”

Devices use all the same conventions as other native Rockwell Automation products so engineers using these will be familiar and comfortable with the environment, making the product easier to use. The AOP provides a more integrated look and feel for the device rather than appearing as a Generic Device.
