Axiomtek’s Released New Intel® Core™ i7 / i5/ i3 Industrial ATX Motherboard – IMB205

“The IMB205 is our first ATX motherboard built around Intel Q57 Express chipset, design to support the new Intel Core i7, i5 and i3 processors with a 1066/1333 MHz front side bus in the LGA1156 package. All three Clarkdale CPUs bring memory and graphics controllers onto the CPUs themselves and offer a Turbo Boost feature and Hyper-Threading technology that can scale the clock speeds up on demand. Moreover, the built-in Intel Active Management Technology 6.0 (iAMT 6.0) and Trusted Platform Module 1.2 (TPM 1.2) have answered today’s customers’ needs of enhanced security and remote access for easier maintenance, said Joseph Chou, Product Manager of Product Manager of Embedded Board and Technology Business Unit. “The IMB205 ATX motherboard also meets all current requirements for the Windows® 7, making it ready to satisfy all the demanding needs of today's and tomorrow's applications.”

The IMB205 comes with rich expandability including one PCIe x16, one PCIe x4, two PCIe x1, and three 32-bit/33 MHz PCI slots. Four DIMM socket slots on board implement up to 16GB DDR3 memory at speeds of 1066/1333MHz. Six serial ATA-II ports integrated RAID 0, 1, 10 and 5 function with transfer rates up to 3 Gb/s. Moreover, the ATX motherboard features a wealth of I/O ports, including four USB 2.0 ports and headers for eight more USB 2.0, dual Gigabit Ethernet ports, four COM ports (3 x RS-232 & 1 x RS-232/422/485), DisplayPort, VGA, HD audio, iAMT, TPM and PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports. The built-in Watchdog Timer (1~255 seconds/minutes) keeps system running smoothly.
