Axiomtek has launched its eMark and ISO7637 certified automotive embedded computer, the tBOX313-835-FL. The fanless in-vehicle box PC comes with onboard quad-core Intel Atom processor E3845 and 4 GB DDR3L system memory. The powerful tBOX313-835-FL features vehicle-friendly power design (ISO-7637 certified) to prevent electrical transient damage.

The PC supports isolated COM, LAN, CAN bus, and DIO ports to enhance system operation reliability in vehicle applications. Three PCI Express Mini card slots and two SIM card sockets offer expansion to 3G/4G connection, GPS tracking and navigation. The fanless car PC is undoubtedly a comprehensive solution for individual and public transportation such as transit bus, police car, taxi and truck.

The versatile car PC system comes with three internal PCI Express Mini Card slots with one supporting mSATA. Two SIM card slots are available for 2G/3G/4G, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth applications.

Significant anti-vibration design allows the embedded computer to endure up to 3GRMS (with CFast & SSD) or 2GRMS (with HDD). Equipped with onboard Atom-based processor and system memory, the vehicle mounted computer tBOX313-835-FL greatly reduces the impact of vibration and shock.

Four isolated RS-422/485 ports, one isolated CAN Bus and one isolated digital I/O connector to prevent ESD and over-voltage are supported. Other I/O connecters are two M12 D-coded Gigabit LAN ports, four audio, one VGA, one HDMI, one HDMI bracket hole, one VDC power input, one fuse, four antenna openings two USB 2.0 ports, one 2.5” SATA drive tray, one CFast, and two SIM card sockets.

“Axiomtek’s IP40-rated in-vehicle PC tBOX313-835-FL is designed-in with intelligent power manager for battery and system protection. Through setting up ignition and ACC delay time, user can prevent losing data and running out of battery while vehicle is under on and off. Furthermore, OUP, OVP and SCP protect system against electrical faults and overvoltage,” said Jerry Huang, Product Manager, Product and Marketing Division, Axiomtek. “The robust embedded system can endure temperatures ranging from -40 to +70°C and can withstand vibration up to 3GRMS and shock up to 50G. Rich isolated I/O ports, including DIO, COM, PoE LAN and CAN bus make the smart system the best solution for onboard devices controller, fleet management, and surveillance.”

The tBOX313-835-FL will be available in early June, 2015.
