Amplicon and Stonewood building encrypted computers Amplicon
Industrial computing manufacturer Amplicon has partnered with Stonewood Group, a source of encrypted HDDs, to deliver PCs that are suitable for use in Government and military applications.
UsedThe reliability and performance of Amplicon industrial PC systems has enabled them to be specified into numerous COTS (Commercial Off The Shelf) projects.
Recognising that many of these systems are storing sensitive data, Amplicon has teamed up with the leading encrypted drive manufacturer Stonewood Group to expand their portfolio of computing solutions.
A catalyst for the partnership has been a recent major project that will see Amplicon industrial computers equipped with encrypted drives for a major UK military integrator.
Robert Palmer of Stonewood Group said: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Amplicon. Compatibility tests went extremely well with much first-time success, and together we can provide a unique, accredited encrypted solution for industrial PC systems.”
David Evans, Product Development Manager at Amplicon commented: “Increasingly, Amplicon are focussing on value added solutions to provide OEMs and System Integrators with a turnkey computing solution. Partnering with an exciting technology company such as Stonewood Group gives us the opportunity to deliver a unique and highly relevant solution to the government and military sectors.”
