AMD G-Series Based COM Express Module from AXIOMTEK features Excellent Graphics Performance
Axiomtek has announced the release of the CEM100, a new low-power COM Express Type 2 module powered by either a single core AMD G-Series APU T40R at 1.0GHz or the dual core T56N at 1.65 GHz paired with the A50M FCH chipset. The platform comes with two DDR3 1066 MHz SO-DIMM slots for up to 8 GB of system memory and four SATA ports with RAID 0, 1, 10, 5.
Inte“Powered by the newest AMD G-Series APU with AMD A55E FCH, Axiomtek’s CEM100 provides the latest graphics features and delivers new user experience. Even with high graphics performance, the optimized energy efficiency enable system developers to design the appliances with tight power and thermal restrictions”, said Joseph Chou, Assistant Vice President of Product & Marketing Division at Axiomtek. “The CEM100 comes with multiple display outputs: 18/24-bit single/dual channel LVDS, VGA, and two DDI displays. The developer can operate modern DisplayPort, HDMI, DVI, and DPO graphical interfaces through the DDI on this board. Its four PCI and eight lanes of PCIe expansion buses maximize the flexibility of system development. Like all our COM Express type-II modules, the CEM100 offers fast time-to-market with reduced development cost and significant freedom in meeting form-fit-function requirements.”
Integrated with the baseboard, the CEM100 has the capability of eight Hi-Speed USB 2.0 ports, AC’97/HD Audio, four SATA-600, one Gigabit LAN, LPC interface, SPI, PATA-100 IDE, eight lanes of PCIe, and four PCI expansions. The built-in Watchdog Timer keeps system running smoothly. Additionally, the CEM100 supports operation system like Windows 7, Windows XP embedded and Linux.
Axiomtek’s brand new CEM100 is available now.
