Alpha Micro adds the Lantronix MatchPort NR to its portfolio of secure networking device servers

The MatchPort NR is pin-for-pin and form factor compatible with Lantronix’s MatchPort wireless device servers. This allows customers to easily configure their products for wired or wireless connectivity through the simple swap of a module. With a simple connection between the device microcontroller’s serial port and one of MatchPort NR’s two serial ports, OEMs can create feature-rich applications, all while saving on design costs and enabling faster time-to-market.

The MatchPort NR is a secure, embedded and wired networking device server module complete with the following industry demonstrated features:

* Built-in web server for device communication and configuration via a standard browser Windows-based DeviceInstaller™ – making configuring one or more units in a subnet quick and easy
