AIS Releases a 12.1” User Interface Terminal Supporting RS-485 Data Acquisitions Modules Utilizing the Modbus Protocol for Packaging Processing Machines and Equipment Applications
American Industrial Systems, Inc. (AIS) is an ISO 9001:2008 certified supplier and manufacturer of 12.1 PC-based user interface terminal, 4 channel isolated digital input and 4 channel relay output, 2 channel counter / frequency input and 8 channel universal analog input data acquisition modules via RS485 supporting the Modbus protocols. RS-485 connection ports allow for flexible expansion and easy integration into HMI, SCADA, packaging, processing machines and equipment applications.
The AIS´ 4 channel isolated digital input and 4 channel relay output data acquisition module (ALL-7060D) is intelligently designed to provide signal conditioning, system monitoring, and safe value settings. AII-7060D is a cost-effective solution for a wide range of valuable industrial control signals and systems. There are plenty of library functions and demo programs are provided to let users develop programs easily under Windows, Linux and DOS operating systems. The communication interface is modbus protocol via RS-485. Users may mount the modules on a DIN rail, panel or wall. The I/O module comes with EZ data logger software to control and program the individual modules.
The AIS 12.1 HMI operator interface terminal built-in fully isolated RS-232/RS-485 serial ports paired with data acquisition modules allows for a cost effective open platform to develop or upgrade an existing automation system.
