It provides beside the standard I/O features 8 x USB 2.0, 6 x COM, 8 GPIOs,

2 x SATA, HD Audio, Dual Gigabit Ethernet, one Compact Flash Socket and is expendable via Mini PCI-Express and PCI. The AIMB-212 offers dual display support (LVDS + VGA); TFT Displays can be controlled by single channel 18 Bit LVDS. It can support system memory of up to 2GB DDR2 667 SDRAM and provides 12V DC input.



The thermal design power (tdp) rating of the Intel® Atom™ N450 single core processor is only 5.5 watts, while the Intel® Atom™ D510 dual core CPU is still only 13 watts.



This new low power platform provides targeted performance for energy-efficient and reliable solutions and serves a wide range of applications that include: POS, KIOSK, medical and transportation.



Like Advantech’s (Partner of DATA MODUL AG) other Embedded products, the new AIMB-212 provides a long-term availability of at least 3 years with a strict revision control.



DATA MODUL offers this highly integrated module also with a wide range of different TFT Displays (AUO, Sharp, CMO,...) inclusive inverters, tested cables and adapted Power-ON/OFF timing. The use of a time intensive display adjustment therefore becomes redundant.



DATA MODUL is able to offer their customers firmware-development for Embedded Systems, driver-adjustments and adjustments of operating systems.
