ADLINK Technology Announces Extreme Rugged ETX Module Based on the Intel Atom Processor
ADLINK Technology, Inc., a leading global provider of ruggedized embedded products, announces the Ampro by ADLINK™ ETX-PVR, its latest Extreme Rugged™ ETX Computer-on-Module (COM).
The The ETX-PVR features 45nm process Intel® Atom™ processors with memory and graphics controllers integrated on chip, supporting single channel DDR2 667MHz SODIMM memory up to 2 GB, single channel LVDS at 1280 x 800 and a VGA interface at 1400 x 1050. The ETX-PVR offers a choice of the power efficient single core Intel® Atom™ N450, Intel® Atom™ D410 single core and high performance Intel® Atom™ D510 dual core processors. “Ranging from the low power N450 to the high performance dual core D510, the Intel Atom is the perfect addition to the Ampro by ADLINK™ lineup of ETX modules and will build on the success of our previous Extreme Rugged™ ETX offerings. The ETX-PVR is an ideal upgrade for the huge number of existing ETX applications world wide,” said Brian Healy, Product Management Manager of ADLINK.
Designed to meet the stringent requirements of the Extreme Rugged™ product line and not just screened, the ETX-PVR uses a 50% thicker PCB for sustained shock and vibration resistance and supports a -40°C to +85°C operating temperature range.
