ETX-945GSE-AAEON's Latest ETX CPU Module With Intel 945GSE
AAEON, a premier Industrial PC manufacturer, releases a brand new ETX CPU Module: ETX-945GSE. This module adopts the Intel® Atom™ N270 processor as well as the Intel® 945GSE and ICH7M chipset. This Computer On Module can be used with the ECB-902M carrier board in order to verify its compatibility with an application as well as provide a base for a customer’s own carrier board design, thus reducing the overall product’s time to market.
“The ETX-945GSE allows for versatile expansion through the support for four 32-bit PCI, 8-bit/ 16-bit ISA, SMBus and I2C buses. These will allow system integrators to expand their embedded systems without purchasing additional devices to enhance necessary functions. The Intel® 945GSE integrated display controller can be configured to support CRT/LCD, CRT/TV and LCD/TV with simultaneous and dual view displays. LCD support comes in the form of up to 24-bit LVDS, up to a resolution of 1600 x 1200. The ETX module also supports an SDVO connector on the carrier board to complete the picture of what the ETX-945GSE can offer in terms of high quality and performance in display support,” said Jonathan Lu, Product Manager of AAEON’s Embedded Computing Division. “The ETX-945GSE reveals advantages of faster time-to-market, lower cost of product development and the ease to embed a computer system into various vertical applications based on its compact size and flexibility,” added Jonathan.
The ETX-945GSE is designed to help system developers respond to the fast demands of the embedded markets effectively and efficiently. It’s compatibility with the ETX standard can increase and upgrade functions for your existing systems by offering not only a cost-effective solution, but also a high performance, stable product with a small power footprint that is featured with the Intel® Atom™ solution.
