Yamaichi Electronics introduces connector series for applications with exposure to high vibration levels
Yamaichi Electronics has enlarged its portfolio of board-to-board and board-to-cable connecters with two new connector types, MatchCon and BoardFit. The MatchCon connectors are described here. The new MatchCon connectors (MBP/MBS series) are characterized by a special contact design which is particularly qualified for applications with strong vibration exposure, e.g. in the automotive area. Due to positioning springs the male and female contacts interlock strongly so that the typical fretting of tin-plated contacts can be eliminated through the high contact force.
MatcAdditionally to this connector series Yamaichi Electronics offers a wide range of board-to-board and board-to-cable solutions with different pitches and design versions, e.g. the new BoardFit connectors (P3/P4 series).
