UTS MPO accepts MPO connectors from 12 to 48 optical fibres

The solution has many notable technical components, such as an ergonomic 1/3-turn quick locking with an audible click. Through its robust thermoplastic UL94-V0 shell material, MPO protection, and high strength cable retention, the UTS MPO provides secure mating. The optical contact multi-sourcing design featuring MPO standard connectors from 12 to 48 optical fibres offers greater flexibility for customers.

The UTS-MPO also withstands harsh environmental conditions, such as temperatures ranging from -40 to +105°C and salt mist for 96 hours. Its dynamic IP67/IP68 rating makes it waterproof and able to endure underwater conditions. Furthermore, the solution’s UV resistance ensures that there is no mechanical degradation or corrosion after 5 years of exposure in natural environments. It is also RoHS compliant and conforms to China’s SJ/T1166-2006 standard.
