Two-part PCB connectors for demanding applications
Lane Electronics has made available two series of two-part printed circuit board connectors designed for use where high resistance to vibration and total reliability is essential. These include military and aerospace systems as well as applications across many high-end industry sectors.
The 801 Series is a two row, two-part PCB connector system based on MIL-DTL-55302. The connectors feature removable low frequency contacts on a 1.27mm (0.05in) staggered pitch with 2.54mm (0.1in) between rows and can be supplied with a variety of contact types and configurations in 19 body sizes up to 96 way. Terminations include solder, PC, straight, 90⁰, crimp, and wire wrapping depending on the type of contact used. Polarising and jacking facilities are available.
Identical in terms of pitch and size between rows of removable low frequency contacts, the 801CX connector adds a mix of high power – up to 25A and coax contacts up to 2GHz.
Both series are designed to meet the requirements of MIL-DTL-55302 and many UK and international standards including, BS9525 N0001, BS9525 F0006, F00012, F0027 and F0041.
MIL-DTL-55302 covers connectors (plugs and receptacles) for printed circuit board (PCB) subassemblies and their accessories, for use in high reliability single-sided, double-sided and multi-layer printed wiring applications. The materials used are also covered by MI-DTL-55302 including those for the contacts, the plating and the plastic bodies.
Lane Electronics has ample stocks of both series and additional quantities can be quickly assembled in-house at sister Lodge Group company Weald Electronics to meet a customer’s specific requirements.
Lane is an ideal source for all key connector types including circular, filtered, RF, coaxial, sub – miniature, backshells and adaptors, D connectors, aerospace, test & measurement, IDC, PCB connectors, edge connectors and connectors for rack and panel applications.
