The strategic relationship between TTI Europe and TE Connectivity (TE) is continuing to bear fruit with the distributor’s launch of TE Connectivity’scomplete M8/M12 connector system for machine industrial automation and control applications. The system embraces an extensive portfolio of connectivity solutions including a full range of PCB headers, cable assemblies and I/O boxes, and provides users with a future-proof interface that supports higher bandwidth needs.

The system meets industrial automation speed requirements of up to 10Gb/s and ensures reliable communication in harsh industrial environments.

Norbert Piefer, TTI’s marketing director of Industrial in Europe explained: “In addition to TE’s connectors, which are the preferred choice for industrial users, we now offer all the accessories and system-level components such as M8/M12 distribution boxes as part of our new strategic industrial relationship with TE. This system enables installers to bundle 4, 6, 8 or 12 connector pairs into one neat, convenient I/O package.”

Typical applications for the M8/M12 system include sensors to detect movement, proximity, level, and motion, as well as actuators to control motors, valves, solenoids and lighting.
