RS adds Harwin 2.54mm-pitch sockets and headers for general-purpose board-to-board and cable-to-board connectivity

The connectors, which have 0.64mm square pins and are designed for industrial, test & measurement and consumer electronics applications, can carry up to 3A per contact and use twin leaf, phosphor-bronze contacts to maintain a positive contact force throughout their service life. This ensures reliability and durability in both fit-and-forget applications and those where there is more frequent insertion and extraction of the connectors.

The M20 product family includes vertical and horizontal types in through-hole or surface mount styles. There are options for crimp contacts, gold plated contacts, and single or double-row pin configurations. The rated voltage is 250V AC/DC and insulation resistance is 1,000 MOhms.
