The inventory of industrial Pin & Sleeve Connectors from New Yorker Electronics has expanded with the stocking of the entire Power Dynamics (PDI) IEC 60309 line of connectors, plugs, inlets and receptacles. This heavy duty connector series is made of rugged thermoplastic housing to resist impact or abuse and provide corrosion resistance.

Designed for heavy duty industrial use, watertight IP67 and splash-proof IP 44 versions are available and all connectors carry applicable safety agency approvals. They are made of durable Valox and carry an impact rating of IK10(20J). The series is approved for use in North America and Europe/International applications. North American ratings are available in 20, 30, 60 and 100A; international ratings are available in 16, 32, 63 and 125A.

A cable strain relief grip and sealing system assures cable retention and watertight conductor termination. The connectors are made of corrosion-proof Nickel plated brass pins and come in 3-, 4- and 5-wire assemblies.

The PDI Pin & Sleeve series is colour coded and keyed to ensure correct mate-ability and feature a Snap-on handle locking and cable grip system assembly that increases connection speed up to 75%.

Because of their durability, water resistance and ease of use, they are used in a wide range of industrial applications including amusement parks, open markets, factories and warehouses, agricultural equipment, campgrounds and cold-storage ship containers.
