Retractable shroud plugs from Multi-Contact rated up to 600V
For many years retractable shroud plugs have been used on electrical equipment sometimes rated up to 240V AC. In recent years safety standard IEC 61010-031 has precluded their use in handheld applications except for voltages below 30V AC - 60V DC. However, there is still older test equipment in use which will not accept fixed shroud plugs.
To aSupplied on either pre-assembled leads of 1mm2 or 2.5mm2 PVC or silicone insulated cable, rated at 19A or 32A respectively, they are available in a range of colours. Alternatively they can be supplied with screw cable terminations for easy self assembly.
