Power connectors feature mechanical keying
The Nano-Fit power connectors are claimed to be the smallest fully-isolated power connectors in the market. They are now available in Europe through distributor TTI. The components provide design engineers with fully-protected header terminals in a small package and feature mechanical keying and colour-coded options to ensure proper mating and terminal position assurance (TPA) to reduce terminal backout.
Further technical details of the Nano-Fit connectors include an ultra-low mate force terminal, a positive-lock housing with anti-snag design, at terminal interface with four points of contact, as well as a retention tang and contact rib.
Main target applications for the products are consumer/home appliances, telecommunications/networking, transportation, lighting, aerospace/defence, industrial, and medical.
