Phase Invariant 0.086" cable assemblies
HUBER+SUHNER just announced a family of phase invariant cable assemblies which brings together the company’s flexible, hand formable and semi-rigid cable technologies to complete its offering in the 0.086" diameter range. HUBER+SUHNER has developed these cable assemblies specifically for phase critical applications requiring precision electrical length connectivity.
According to HUBER+SUHNER and depending on the application, users have the choice of a flexible (Minibend), a hand- formable (Sucoform) or a semi rigid (EZ) solution, each of which brings a wide range of performance and ease-of-use benefits.
Features common to all three solutions include increased system accuracy over temperature changes, outstanding return loss and a highly effective shielding performance.
The Minibend CTR cable family combines the flexibility of HUBER+SUHNER’s bend-to-the-end technology with excellent phase versus temperature performance to create a stable, reliable, cable solution to satisfy an endless range of customer applications where phase stability is key.
HUBER+SUHNER’s Sucoform 86 CT cable family comprises hand-formable cables with a tin soaked braid outer conductor. Sucoform 86 CT cable features a small bending radius and is easy to install.
HUBER+SUHNER’s EZ 86 CT cable is a form stable cable with a tubular, tin plated outer conductor. Like the Sucoform 86 CT cable, it features extremely good insertion loss and phase stability values over multiple temperature cycles (full cycle windows from −55 to +125 °C).
HUBER+SUHNER also offers a broad selection of connector interfaces which allows the company to offer these phase invariant cable assemblies to meet customers’ specific requirements.
