New non-magnetic PCB mounted SMPM options available

These new connectors are available in the straight jack configuration featuring either full detent of smooth bore retention. They are specifically engineered with non-ferrous metals and alloys. Non-magnetic RF interconnects are essential for applications such as medical equipment, quantum computing components, and military/aerospace technology where the presence of magnetic material in the components may cause interference.

These 50 ohm non-magnetic SMPM jacks offer electrical performance up to 26.5GHz and are engineered with gold-plated, beryllium copper bodies. They are compatible with all existing non-magnetic SMPM bullets for an excellent board-to-board or cable-to-board solution. SMPM connectors utilise the popular snap-on locking mechanism for quick and easy mating and unmating. These parts can be clearly identified by the NM stamp on the body.

Non-magnetic SMPM connectors offer the same features and benefits as traditional SMPM products – misalignment tolerance, reduced footprint, high frequency range, and a wide range of configurations.
