New Low Profile Grommets provide a low cost cable sealing solution

The new design incorporates an integral flexible sleeve that closes tight around the cable and allows for it to be moved around like a ”joy-stick” in the opening without compromising the IP67 rated seal. Therefore, it works extremely well with cables passing through at an angle.

The ”pop-out-membrane” feature allows you to blank off and seal holes prior to inserting the cable. The membrane then breaks away cleanly when the cable is inserted so you always have a round opening and are guaranteed to have an IP67 seal.

The range covers sizes M16, M20, M25 & M32 and seals cable diameters from 5.0 to 24.0mm. The flexible TPE material enables the part to be inserted without the need for special tooling and is capable of working in temperatures from -50°C to +125°C.
