New connector manufacturing agreement means shorter delivery times

Hypertac has appointed Aerco as an authorised assembling distributor of these popular, high-performance connectors and it is expected that this improved availability will be highly significant in areas such as the military and aerospace sectors that are increasingly reliant on commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) components in the quest to drive down costs and time to market. In addition to short lead-times Aerco will also offer full technical support and after-sales service.

However, it is a serious challenge to supply the electronics industry with high quality connectors in a wide range of variants in the time scales customers’ require to meet demands for spares, repair contracts, rapid prototyping and quick turnaround JIT systems.
