The FIBERFOX EBC25 series, featuring a jam-nut chassis design, is engineered to deliver consistent performance and reliability across a multitude of applications. It is particularly suited for sectors demanding high resilience, such as industrial, defence, and civil engineering. The series is tailored to accommodate network, audio, video, lighting, and broadcast needs in challenging environments where performance is critical.

This new series boasts improved temperature resistance, ranging from -46°C to 71°C. The dimensions of the connectors adhere strictly to the MIL-DTL-83526 standard, assuring interoperability with other connectors following the same standard. The FIBERFOX EBC25 system is distinguished by its maintenance-friendly design, requiring no specialised cleaning or measuring tools and is rated IP68 for protection against dust and water, even when the connectors are unmated.

With a design optimised for longevity, the wear-free connectors can endure up to 10,000 mating cycles without the need for maintenance. The system facilitates the direct expansion of cables without the need for additional couplers, simplifying the extension process. The bulkhead-mounted connectors are designed for ease, converting standard LC patch cables into an expanded beam solution efficiently.

For environments that pose extreme challenges, the FIBERFOX X-TREME EBC25 emerges as an ultra-resilient option. It features a cut-proof and rodent-resistant double jacket glass yarn construction, ensuring durability. The inclusion of aramid yarn provides exceptional cable retention, and a black PUR outer jacket encapsulates the design, making it ideal for the toughest outdoor conditions.

The FIBERFOX X-TREME EBC25 cable connectors are supplied pre-assembled for convenience, with the finished cable available in standardised lengths. The cables can be packed on various cable reels—GT450, HT582, or SK4812—or air spool, ready for deployment in the field.
