Lane Electronics now supplies from stock a range ofhigh performance circular connectors that meet the requirements of MIL-DTL-38999 SERIES III. These are high density, threaded coupling connectors available in a wide range of shell materials including aluminium, composite, marine bronze and stainless steel. The connectors are manufactured by Souriau for whom Lane is an assembling distributor.

Lane Electronics can supply a wide variety of standard 38999 connectors on a next day delivery basis, but can also assemble to order custom connectors from its substantial stock profile of Souriau 38999 products and piece parts on surprisingly short lead times. They can also be supplied in different finishes including RoHS compliant, black Zinc Nickel and Zinc Cobalt plating.

These 38999 compliant connectors can be supplied with signal, power, high power, coax, triax, quadrax or Elio fibre optic contacts. When fitted with quadrax, the connector is the ideal solution when 100Mbit/s Ethernet or 15Ω fibre channel is required in harsh environments. When Souriau’s Elio fibre optic contacts are specified, the connector allows for high speed networks in equally demanding environments.

Lane Electronics also has available a range of accessories including protective caps with a wide choice of plating options with steel wire rope or nylon cords.
