ITT Interconnect Solutions announces new Trinity MKJ3 mini-bayonet connector series and enhances 38999 product line

Leading global connector manufacturer and supplier ITT, Interconnect Solutions has announced the expansion of its Trinity MKJ product line with a new mini-bayonet connector series, designated Trinity MKJ3. Developments in electronic subsystems are demanding smaller and lighter interconnects and ITT ICS has responded with the new series, which is up to 70% lighter and 50% smaller than traditional Mil-Std circular connectors while providing high durability and similar environmental performance.
ITT ICS’ new Trinity MKJ3 connectors feature a quick coupling design which fully mates and locks in a single quarter turn. It supports high density signal applications with size 23 split tine high-reliability contacts and is available in crimp and PCB mount versions. The MKJ3 series’ compact form factor meets the stringent space and performance requirements for a variety of commercial and military and aircraft applications, as well as industrial equipment and instrumentation.



A market leader in Mil-DTL 38999 interconnects for over thirty years, ITT ICS has used its design and engineering expertise to enhance their product offering of 38999 Series III circular connectors. ITT ICS’s 38999 Series III connectors are DSCC qualified to meet the stringent testing requirements of Mil-DTL-38999 and designed to meet the high reliability needs of military and commercial aviation applications.









This product line also fulfils a broader range of design requirements in military vehicles, ground support units, and radio/communications equipment.
