Inelco Hunter now offering bayonet connectors
Amphenol distributor Inelco Hunter has announced the release of the Small Thread Adaptor (STA) Option for the Sine Systems DuraMate product line.
This Small Thread Adaptor features an advanced "step down" threading design, making it suitable for use with screw-on or clamshell backshells.
These adaptors provide an economical, quick-connect, bayonet-locking solution, designed to endure the harsh conditions and complexities of off-road applications. They comply with ISO 11783 standards, facilitating control and communication between agricultural tractors.
Comparable to an L015 adaptor, the Small Thread Adaptors are compatible with industry standard products and available for existing DuraMate AHDP Shell Size 24 insert configurations. These environmentally-sealed, multi-pin adaptors come in robust, high-strength plastic or metal housings, offering impact resistance and a lightweight design in either thermoplastic or zinc-alloy metal.
Key features include a 3 key-way bayonet design to ensure correct connector mating for high-density signal and mixed power insert configurations. They operate within a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C. Engineered for rapid and secure mating, they achieve an IP69K rating when mated, protecting against dust, water, mud, and other contaminants.
The backshells feature a compression-fit design to resist maximum pull-out forces and provide strain relief for jacketed cable ranges. They are also highly resistant to vibration.
The Small Thread Adaptors complement the existing DuraMate AHDP Adaptor options, which include Wide Thread adaptors (comparable to an L024 adaptor), Backshell Ring adaptors (comparable to an L017 adaptor), and Smooth Ring adaptors (comparable to a standard adaptor).
