IGG to market Tekdata’s Cryoconnect cable assemblies to global space industry

As a leading UK-based wiring systems specialist, Tekdata provides cable harness design, rapid prototyping, manufacture and cabinet and box assembly services to some of the world’s largest avionics and defence companies. Cryoconnect, a specialist division of Tekdata, focuses solely on low-mass miniature cabling and interconnection solutions for cryogenic systems, which are designed to operate to ultra-low temperatures.

Thanks partly to Cryoconnect, Tekdata is one of an exclusive number of companies able to meet NASA's demanding specifications for space-borne interconnection systems.

IGG provides high-reliability Electronic, Electrical and Electromechanical (EEE) components and related services to the space, aerospace and defence industries. The company’s main areas of expertise are testing, evaluation, parts procurement, long-term storage, engineering consultancy, and obsolescence management and mitigation. The company has carried out numerous projects for the European Space Agency and is a tier-one supplier to Rolls-Royce.
