Lane Motorsport has made a key addition to its connector accessories portfolio. These are high performance heat shrink tubing products from HellermannTyton. The HellermannTyton SE28 Series is being increasingly specified by designers across the motorsport, aerospace, defence and railway sectors and Lane Motorsport has them in stock in the most popular 2:1 sizes including 2.4, 3.2, 4.8 and 12.7.

According to Lane Motorsport’s Peter Costin, SE28 heat shrink tubing is a direct replacement for DR-25 tubing which many users are currently finding difficult to source. SE28 tubing is made from cross linked elastomer and has an operating temperature range of -75ºC up to +150ºC making the tubing ideal for applications across most motorsport platforms. Like DR-25, the SE28 tubing is qualified to VG95343T05D.

HellermannTyton’s SE28 Series heat shrink tubing is designed to protect cable and cable harnesses from mechanical damage such as abrasion. It also resists a wide range of destructive fluids including diesel and aviation fuels as well as those found in hydraulic systems.

Lane Motorsport is a major supplier of HellermannTyton’s heat shrink products and holds extensive stocks available in a wide range of sizes, material and adhesive options for immediate delivery.

Lane Electronics is an ideal source for all key connector types including circular, filtered, RF, coaxial, sub – miniature, backshells and adaptors, D connectors, aerospace, test & measurement, IDC, PCB connectors, edge connectors and connectors for rack and panel applications.
