HARTING's har-flex series, the recently introduced PCB connector family designed for a wide range of board-to-board and board-to-cable applications, has been extended with the introduction of an angled version.
The new angled connector, which augments the straight models and ribbon-cable connectors previously available, expands the range of application possibilities by making highly flexible and modular equipment configurations possible.

HARTING is extending its har-flex(R) family in response to the continuing market demands for more compact equipment designs, coupled with the fact that circuit boards are no longer constrained by having to conform to a rigid layout.

har-flex(R) connectors make a wide range of equipment circuit-board layouts possible. All versions can be freely combined, and are adaptable to the housing. The range also meets all the latest requirements of transmission protocols such as Gigabit Ethernet and PCI Express, with data rates up to

3.125 Gbit/s being easily achievable.

The compact, robust design of har-flex(R) also ensures reliable operation, even in adverse conditions, by combining the performance of a modern computer with the robustness of an industrial device, so that har-flex(R) connectors can be used in both control cabinets and mobile devices.

The complete har-flex(R) product family from HARTING delivers versatile solutions for all circuit-board applications requiring a space-saving connection, and consistently combines easy, automatic and efficient handling with high quality.
